Day Dream
“Day Dream” was an early exploration of light, color, and perception.
The exhibition brought together a series of paintings that investigate how thin layers of color can generate depth, vibration, and a sense of inner luminosity.
Rather than depicting external landscapes, the works attempt to create a field of experience in which light appears to emerge from within the painting itself. Through repeated layering and subtle gradations, the surfaces begin to breathe with shifting tones and quiet movement.
At the entrance, suspended crystal strands refracted natural light into small spectrums that moved across the space. These prisms introduced a spatial dimension to the paintings, extending the idea of light beyond the canvas and into the surrounding environment.
The installation invited viewers to slow down and enter a contemplative state—an experience closer to meditation than observation.
